GED Connection offers preparation for the GED exam and for the world beyond incarceration. GED Connection covers all five subject areas on the GED exam, is based on the most recent GED test (2002) and:
- Offers practical guidelines for writing the essay
- Shows how to interpret maps, charts, and other graphics
- Demonstrates the Casio® fx-260 scientific calculator
- Provides instruction and practice on grid answer formats
Sessions show learners what to expect, help determine which skills and content areas students need to strengthen, and build confidence for test day
39 documentary-style programs, widely broadcast on public television stations nationwide and now aired regularly on TLN, introduce content and give learners opportunities to hear from experts. Students see how skills they are learning for the GED exam relate to reentry . . . life at work, home and in the community.
